This is a critical year for Virginia Democrats. In order to re-establish a statewide majority in 2005, we must rebuild the party, especially in the suburbs and rural areas. This means creating a "big tent" that respects philosophical and regional differences but unifies around our historic principles of opportunity, responsibility and freedom. I am promotingthis message in every corner of Virginia.

On May 1st, my campaign kicked offour "Uniting All Virginia" RV bus tour. We will be on the road for the next thirty days, visiting localities throughout the state in a thirty-two foot Roadmaster.
